SOURCE volt 40w TC is the 1st Temperature Control (TC) battery specifically designed for concentrated essential oils, including a longer 15 seconds working time.

Troubleshoot

  • Battery Reads Low Voltage:
    • Explanation: The battery voltage is less than 3.2v, its limit
    • Fix: Change the Wattage and/or Charge the battery
  • Battery Reads High Voltage:
    • Explanation: The battery voltage is higher than 5.0v, its limit
    • Fix: Lower the Wattage
  • Battery reads Protection:
    • Explanation: The battery's chipboard internal temperature has reached 194F, and will shut down to cool down and protect the chip. 
    • Fix: Do not use battery and allow battery to cool down for 15 minutes.
  • Battery Reads No Atomizer:
  • Battery Reads Atomizer Short/Check Atomizer/Check Res!:

Charge:

  1. Unscrew your Attachment from your battery.
  2. Plug in a micro USB cable to the underside of the SOURCE volt 40w TC.
  3. Plug your cable into a wall charger.
  4. Your battery screen will read charging.
  5. Your screen will go blank once fully charged (2-3 hours).

SAFETY INFORMATION:

  • Do not leave charge in extreme temperatures (Very Hot or Very Cold)
  • Do not charge near moist environments.
  • Do not leave battery hanging by its cable. Make sure it is in a stable position.
  • Do not leave charging for extended periods of time.
  • Charge in a well ventilated area. 
  • When charging, allow the battery to charge completely prior to using. 

Using Temperature Control (TC) mode

  1. Make sure you are using either a 4 Series or XL Series atomizer compatible with Temp Control with your SOURCE volt 40w TC battery.
  2. Press the Power Button (square) on your SOURCE volt 40w TC battery sequentially 5 times.
  3. Once your battery powers up, you will see "HELLO" pop up on the screen and then "System: On".
  4. The next screen will read "New Atomizer" since the atomizer has just been installed, followed by the question: "Init Res" with "NO" selected by default. Click the Right Arrow to select "YES." The battery will then analyze the initial resistance of the atomizer, and once completed will read "Init Succeed."
  5. This will take you to your battery's Temperature Control mode with the desired temperature on display (between 200F and 700F).
  6. Select your desired temperature by using the Right Arrow to increase the temperature and the Left Arrow to decrease it.

Using Variable Wattage (VW) mode

  1. Once the battery is already activated, press the Power Button (square) sequentially 3 times. This will take you to the SOURCE volt 40w TC Main Menu.
  2. The first option on the Main Menu is "Atomizer," select it by pressing the Power Button.
  3. The first option of the next menu is Normal (Variable Wattage Mode), click the Power Button to select and activate VW mode.
  4. Once in VW mode, you will see the Wattage rather than Temperature.
  5. Select your desired wattage by using the Right Arrow to increase the wattage and the Left Arrow to decrease it.

Main Menu

To open the Main Menu, press the Power Button sequentially 3 times once the SOURCE volt 40w TC is powered on. 

Use the Right and Left Arrows to change your selection. To make a selection, press the Power Button.

  • Ni200 (Select the power level with which TC Mode heats up)
    • Low Power

  • Temperature (Select between Fahrenheit and Celsius)
    • Unit (Select to choose unit)
      • Unit F (Select for Fahrenheit in TC Mode)
      • Unit C (Select for Celsius in TC Mode)
    • Exit (Exit to Main Menu)
  • Display (Select the Rotation of the display screen)
    • Direction (Select to choose direction)
      • Dir 180 (Default setting)
      • Dir 0 (Rotate 180 degrees from default setting)
    • Exit
